Luke 8:1-21

Today we look at two parables and one circumstance.

Parable One: The parable of the sower. In this Jesus exposes the four conditions of the human heart:

Parable Two: The lamp. Jesus tells us the meaning of the lamp is to give light in a manner for others to see. In this we learn to live lives out in the open that others would see the path to live.

Circumstance: Jesus' Mother and brothers are attempting to get His attention. In this Jesus share who the true family of God is.

The main point of each is the same.
