James 3:1-12

Children can say, "Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me" – but in reality, our words possess incredible power to either tear down and destroy, or to uplift and edify. We must remember that careless and malicious speech can cause great damage and destruction, while the ability to control the tongue is a sure sign of spiritual maturity and godly character.
