It was always about coming to your senses, remembering where you belong, and drawing you out of your false identities back home to the heart of the Father. Sin hides the face of God behind a veil of illusion and delusion where all you can see is the good, the bad, and the ugly of you. Repentance is Metanoia, and rightly revealed, will open your eyes to the grace that can only be found in beholding the face of God in Jesus Christ.
