The Consumer Product Safety Commission and Head Rush Technologies are recalling Trueblue iQ Auto Belay Devices. This device fails to retract and hold a climber safely leading to falls, serious injuries, and possible death.
About 2,200 devices were sold in the US and about 254 were sold in Canada online at headrushtech.com.
Climbers should stop using these belay devices. Contact Head Rush Technologies at 720-565-6885 or via email at [email protected] to arrange a free inspection and repair.
