On March 27, 2023, a mass shooting occurred at The Covenant School, a private Presbyterian Church in America parochial school in the Green Hills neighborhood of Nashville, Tennessee.

According to CNN, the school shooting suspect had maps of the school building and scouted a possible second attack location. 

As police further investigate, the students of Kenwood High School in Chicago can't help but wonder if their school is safe enough after they also have recently experienced the death of a student via shooting.
