Truly Helpful Prayer Series, Part 1

In this episode, Rev. Deb, Rev. Gayle, and Mari begin a new series on the Truly Helpful Prayer that is found in the Text on p. 28. We so desire to be helpful in times of crisis and pain, like the current situation in Texas and Louisiana with Hurricane Harvey or situations in our family's and friend's lives as well as our country's. How do we respond? How do we offer prayers? How can we truly be helpful.

The hosts begin with an overview of an anecdote about Bill Thetford, co-scribe to ACIM and how the Truly Helpful Prayer was born, how we can learn to stay "above the battleground" and to step back and allow the Light in us to step forward. We can respond with love, regardless.
