Here on 4BC Mornings, we have been following the journey of powerhouse ultramarathon runner, Sal Powell.

Sal Powell has just handed back in Brisbane after running 250 kilometres across Antarctica as part of her quest to become the first Australian to run all five “Racing the Planet” desert ultramarathons in the same year.

Ms. Powell told Bill McDonald, "I cannot put into words what an extraordinary experience it was, you just have to see it to believe it. It is just untouched nature at its best."
