Trump Admits He'll Prosecute His Rivals If He Wins Reelection
In a recent interview that aired on Univision, Donald Trump said that the "genie was out of the box" on prosecuting political enemies in the United States, which Trump says means that it would be open season on prosecuting his rivals if he wins election in 2024. This shouldn't be viewed as an idle threat, either - Trump will surround himself with lawyers and appointees that will make sure he can do everything he wants to do, regardless of the legality of it all.
Also, Fox News host Maria Bartiromo tried to get Trump lawyer Alina Habba to violate the gag order against her during an interview, by prodding Habba to tell the audience why she thinks both the judge and the clerk are biased against Donald Trump. Surprisingly, Habba didn't take the bait, which actually shows a level of self-control that Habba has not exhibited in the past. Could Habba be maturing, or was this whole thing staged to make Habba look like a victim?
And during a Veterans' Day speech in New Hampshire this past weekend, Donald Trump told the crowd that the real threat to the United States was coming from within the country, and that it was coming from the "far left." He then added that he will "root out" Leftists if he wins back the White House next year, a reminder of how dangerous and unhinged Trump has become since being defeated by President Biden. But these threats must be taken seriously.
Finally, Donald Trump is once again going after special prosecutor Jack Smith's family, and during his weekend rally in New Hampshire, Trump claimed that Smith's family "hates Trump" even more than Smith himself does. There is absolutely no evidence to support any of the things that Trump says about Smith and his family, but that doesn't matter to the crowd. Trump knows that his cult members are unstable, and by repeatedly attacking Smith and his family, Trump is hoping to intimidate them into backing down.
