The circus begins. Secretary of Defense nominee was interrupted multiple times by protestors during his opening statement this morning. An opening statement that focused on reviving our manufacturing base, re-establishing deterrence, and putting our Armed Forces back to work oin their primary mission of defending our homeland, our borders, and our vital interests. Those are the topics the committee should be asking Mr. Hegseth about, but alas, they did not stay focused on that mission. Fortunately, even before taking office, the Trump administration is having a positive impact on foreign policy and the wars that broke out under the Biden regime. News of an impending hostage deal in Israel’s defensive war in Gaza is breaking only because of the transition to a new American government.
