Trump has threatened 25% tariffs on Mexico and Canada and a 10% tariff increase on China.  Supporters believe that these countries will cave to avoid detrimental economic impacts.  Detractors say only the American consumer will pay.  Who is right?  How has America used tariffs historically?  And are they really in play or simply a means to another end?  Let's discuss
