How many friends does American President, Donald Trump, have left abroad? In recent weeks, several international leaders have signalled a schism between their countries and Trump. Longtime US friend and neighbour, Canada, has increasingly been looking for new partners since Trump applied high tariffs against it. British Prime Minister, Keir Starmer has been open about not being drawn into Trump’s war on Iran. European leaders, like Emmanuel Macron and Spanish leader, Pedro Sanchez, have taken a hard stance against the US. Surprisingly, so has Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, who used to be a Trump fan. That’s not to speak of the Pope, who’s been open in his criticism of America’s war on Iran.
