In a move that would make the mafia blush, Trump's Department of Justice just filed a motion to dismiss the classified documents case against Donald Trump's former co-defendants Walt Nauta and Carlos DeOliveira, thereby protecting Trump himself. If those cases had gone to trial, the public would have been able to learn about the crimes for which Trump was indicted, including unlawfully retaining classified documents, obstructing justice, and violating our nation's espionage laws.
