Trump predicted that his arrest by the Manhattan District Attorney is on the near horizon. (He announced it would happen on 3/21). He took to social media to announce his indictment and called to protest and 'Take back America'. With echoes of Jan 6, there are some who fear his MAGA followers may take his words to protest as a silent dog whistle to do so by violent means. Rather than quell his words, GOP leaders Kevin McCarthy and Lindsey Graham took to the media airways to criticize the Manhattan District Attorney as pushing a political agenda versus the prosecution of the 45th former president, over hush money payments to adult film star Stormy Daniels and election contribution law violations. The looming arrest of a former president, the first in presidential history, is the topic of discussion for today's panel.
