Folks there no question that Trump’s pick of Judge Barrett was one of political expedients. Trump knows where his bread is buttered. He knows he needs the support of the Christian Right and all those racist organizations like the Klan who use religion as a stepping stone towards violence against perceived out-groups. The last thing America needs right now is a religious whacko zealot sitting in judgment at the highest level for potentially decades. As discussed, Roe is in jeopardy.
