Killing 15 Minutes

Truro Murders | Christopher Worrell and James Miller

Listen Later

The Truro Murders were a series of killings that took place in Australia in the late 1970s. The main perpetrator, James Miller, and his accomplice, Christopher Worrell, targeted young women, picking them up in Miller's car and then driving them to remote locations where they were raped and murdered. Miller would often go for a walk while Worrell carried out the crimes. The bodies of the victims were later discovered in various locations. Miller was eventually convicted for six of the seven murders and sentenced to six consecutive life sentences. Worrell died in a car accident before he could be brought to justice.
