As we have been I hope looking into our individual spiritual readiness I also have great expectations that we will see just how trusting and obeying our lord God are vital parts of a strong Godly spiritual walk. Through this series of messages we have seen the need for strong spiritual leaders. We have seen the need to have the knowledge of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ as well the Holy word of God hidden within our hearts and minds. We examined the fact that we must take the initiative to seek true Godly spiritual maturity walking, talking, acting, and speaking in a way that we are found pleasing in the sight of God. We also got a glimpse of our very need to harness this walk to hang on to each step we make towards being more spiritually mature. We saw that spiritual maturity does not come naturally as does the human fleshly nature which we are born with. But through our steadfast devotion unto our Lord God, and the knowledge of Satan-s divisive tactics we can be prepared to resist and be freed from the spiritual blindness Satan uses to cover over our minds eye.--So today this brings us to 1 John 2 where we will be looking at what Gods word tell us about the marks of one who is truly a Christian being one who is expressing Trust and obedience to God showing love to one another, as opposed to those who merely proclaim to be Christians yet have never been truly born again.
