it can seem like they have otherworldly powers, the reality is that they

are very clever and skilled in performing illusions that seem to have

no possible explanation.  If you simply believe what your eyes see, you

will be tricked!  Spiritually this is also true.  We have to decide if

we are going to trust what we see, what makes sense to us, and what we

can count or if we’re going to put our trust in the Lord.  Things like

money or knowledge can give the illusion of being trustworthy and even

seem to make us more secure.  But Proverbs says to put our trust in the

Lord.
