Happy holidays y'all! This week we have a gift for everyone: Charlie Martin - race car driver, extreme athlete, and queer car community legend - is joining us to talk about hillclimb in French cars, how to mentally prepare yourself for an amount of downforce that will snap your neck, why proving haters wrong is the world's best motivational tool, and the best way to run 24 hours of wheel-to-wheel at the world's hardest race track. Thank you to our Trustees (we still using that?) for putting up with us in 2020, and we can't wait to talk your ear off in '21.

Folks we tried another episode without any detailed notes and it, uh, folks it went places. Please join us for a healthy conversation as we decompress a bit headed into A December to Remember.

On this episode, the team has a friendly knock-down-drag-out on the new Hummer EV by GMC by General Motors. The Beyond Meat Duramax sets expectations for both General Motors and their buyers, which is A Whole Thing.

On this episode of the podcast, Toni gives everyone complete fleet report and arrives at a conundrum: what to do with a 1989 Honda Prelude?
No lowballers, we don't need help selling the car.

On this episode of the podcast, the team provides some critical advice on how to best construct your automotive portfolio and definitely doesn't yell for an hour about low-mileage Bring a Trailer sales. Probably. Also, even less yelling about the "built not bought" philosophy.

Full disclosure, Trustees (we're trying that out this week, please bear with us): on occasion, we don't do the required reading. So, if you want to know what sixty-four minutes sounds like with three hosts who each did exactly zero homework in the moments leading up to recording, well, here is your opportunity. We covered all the relevant topics, everything from Fun Uncle Australia to which presidential candidate is likely to conduct diplomacy via a third-gear bias-ply burnout in front of a Dairy Queen.

Good news everyone: we have fought with The Technology and emerged victorious and with our historic victory comes our first guest episode! You might know Bradley Brownell as a prolific writer, cornerstone of The Best Car Show In Our Plane of Existence, or neutron star of hot takes on Twitter. In any case, we had a lively discussion on motorcycles, electrification of an entire hobby, and bounced around from here to there and generally enjoying a delightful afternoon.
In this episode, the team reckons with the true meaning of the Datsun/Nissan Z from it's mustachioed past to it's less-uncertain-than-yesterday future. Also, here's the reasoning for the rebranding from Datsun to Nissan.

On this episode of the podcast, there was one more question from our Q&A that we wanted to set aside some time to discuss, from @TechnoAddy:
“If y’all could own any concept car in fully functional form, which one would you pick and why?”
This question could've run through two episodes, but we cut it at one to prevent any of the hosts from plotting vigilante justice against the people responsible for axing the iDx concept from production. We tried to keep a running list of the cars we discuss as a visual aid. Y'all have no idea how close I came to making a PowerPoint out of this:
And The Official Picks:

Folks: here is Part II of our inaugural Q&A episode. Do things get further off the rails? Do we completely lose track of where we are? Do the last 10 questions take a solid hour to get through? The answer to all of these questions lies behind that little triangle shaped Play button somewhere on your screen. Go on. Double dare you,
Also: This was an absolute riot and we can't wait to do it again. We're also going to give Monday uploads a shot, y'all let us know what you think!
