It’s episode 196 with Dr Ruby Gupta, author of nine books including her Agatha Christie inspired murder mystery series based around her main character, Professor Shantanu Bose. Her journey to publication is one of persistence and determination and it’s an inspiring chat.

Based amidst the misty Himalayan foothills, Ruby is the best-selling author of nine books. She has been honoured as the International Writer-in-Residence at the International Agatha Christie Festival (2022) in Torquay, Devon, England. A double gold medallist in English literature, she is an awardee of the GSE by Rotary International and the recipient of the Pratibha Samman Award for her journalism. Currently working as Professor & HOD Humanities at the ACC Wing, Indian Military Academy, Ruby has published nine books, including the latest in her murder mystery series, The Secret of Leifeng Pagoda.
