The only constant in life is change, and throughout the years of Hip-Hop we have continued to see the genre grow and blossom into its most magnificent, diverse form. 2023 marks 50 years for Hip-Hop, and to celebrate this milestone, throughout the year we will be featuring various artists, producers, and regions in a segment called The Only Constant is Hip-Hop. Considering Hip-Hop was birthed in New York, we felt there was no better artist to kick off our celebration with than Mr. Nasty Nas himself. Of course there are Hip-Hop legends that predate Nas, but to a group of Millennials who weren’t outsideee from the beginning, Nas’ style and sound have always felt quintessentially New York!
