Our special guest in this episode are WellShare International Directors Andrea Ross and Ellen Saliares, MPH. During this episode we discuss our MDH Regional Health Equity Grant in Anoka County, and how we are hosting listening sessions and identifying the "Trusted Messengers"  in our BIPOC and Immigrant Communities to learn about the barriers to accessing primary care and connecting to health and community resources. We learn about Wellshare's approach to community health and how essential community health workers are to health equity. WellShare is excited to be partnering with Care Resource Connections and other community partners on this MDH Grant Project. We agree that connections like this grow and sustain our work as nonprofits.
