The scriptural text used is Matthew 10:24-31. In this sermon, I unpack just as the gospel of Matthew does, the words of Jesus on what it means to be a disciple in the face of persecution or conflict and provides assurance of God's love. The sermon is stratified into two major sections, namely:  1) Do not ignore persecution (vs. 24-25). 2) Do not fear the persecution of men but only God (vs. 26-31). I also explored three primary reasons why Jesus encourages us not to fear.
