At some point in life, each of us will find ourselves in a situation that is simply unfair. We try our best to live moral lives that honor God, but sometimes it feels like the world wants to punish us for it. When we experience this kind of  injustice, it can lead us to ask, “Why do bad things happen to good people?” And when unfair circumstances threaten our way of life, it can be tempting to compromise our beliefs and values in order to protect ourselves and preserve our way of life. But the Bible is clear that God is with us in those difficult circumstances. The story of Daniel in the Lion’s Den is a reminder that we are not on our own and that God is able to deliver his people.
