In this episode, I have a casual catch-up with my mate Ryan Evans.
Ryan is a registered nutritionist, personal trainer, gut health specialist and proponent of holistic self-care, based in New South Wales, Australia.
In our last episode earlier this year (Episode 40), we talked about Ryan’s personal healing journey and then in turn, how he started to help other people to do the same.
In this episode, we hit the ground running and pick up where we left off.
I find out what Ryan’s been up to these last few months and it involves everything from shamanic plant-medicine ceremonies to silent retreats — which involved 10 hours of meditation PER DAY, not being able to make eye contact or engage with the other people there and of course, not speaking.

We also talk about purposely doing uncomfortable self-work, in order to ultimately, live a more meaningful and purposeful life.

We talk wearing a mask — not a covid one — and hiding behind a facade, and learning how to drop that gradually over time and be yourself.
