Ya gurl is done ignoring her morning alarms to stretch, meditate, and journal! I am getting back on track and I am feeling empowered after the weekend I just had! I ready and willing to get back to consistency and attracting and co-creating the life I want to live!

As black people we deal with microaggressions at work and outside of work. The ELC Institute created 10 self affirmations to help empower us when they happen. This is a me vs me journey! Things won’t be perfect and I have to take the first step! Just started and the momentum will grow! The motivation will be increase. The fire will get bigger! But I have to start first!! Literally just start with something and then celebrate that win. Then do the next step and celebrate that win and continue taking action steps and celebrating along the way!

It’s not until someone says it that we’re like “omg I needed that”

Guys! Self-love isn’t selfish; it is key to living a happy, healthy life. It does take time and practice to cultivate this. So practice practice practice! Also, it is OK to take time away from healing and enjoy the progress you’ve made! ENJOY THE AFFIRMATIONS

My therapist gave me an assignment and when it came time for me to do it, I instantly found myself as that little girl again crying due to rejection and fear. I allowed my wound and disappointment to get in the way. BUT NOT ANYMORE! Let’s discuss!

It doesn't matter what other people think of you because they don't have to live with you. You are the only person who has to live with you. YOU ARE THE ONLY PERSON WHO HAS TO LIVE WITH YOU!

I really thought this was an in and out type of thing and I am still in! Lol here’s how therapy is going.

This year my focus is finding gratitude in each day and being intentional about aligning myself, taking action, and being authentic with who I am! Happy new year friends!
