There's a kind of tiredness that has nothing to do with how much you slept. It shows up after a day of being slightly off from yourself, saying yes when you meant no, smiling when you didn't agree, managing your way through conversations instead of being in them. By evening you're exhausted, and you can't quite explain why.
In this episode, Pedro goes deep into Satya, the second yama, and pushes past the surface translation of "don't lie" into something far more demanding and far more useful. He shares the moment Satya finally caught up with him, a rehearsal room in 2012, a band, and a sentence he didn't plan to say.
Through Patanjali's Yoga Sutra II.36, the science of Naad, and a metaphor borrowed from physics, he reframes satya as the practice of becoming a coherent wave: the gap between what you perceive, feel, say and do, and the energetic cost of leaving that gap open.
For anyone in transition, anyone exhausted by a life that doesn't quite fit anymore, anyone curious about what Kundalini Yoga actually means by "truth is my identity."
