Last week two African-American members of the Tennessee House Of Representatives were expelled as a result of protesting the lack of any forthcoming new gun control laws in wake of the recent school shooting there.  A third member, a white woman, was also up for expulsion, but was spared the same fate as her colleagues. Was this business as usual or a sign of things to come in American politics?
