In this episode, NCCAkron’s Executive/Artistic Director, Christy Bolingbroke, enters the ‘studio’ with Columbus, Ohio-based choreographer and founding artistic director of dance theatre X, Charles O. Anderson. Known for his rigorous kinetic storytelling and commitment to dance as a tool for social justice, his work explores Black identity, resistance, and radical imagination.
