Sometimes life hits us pretty hard, but "when all things are going crazy, all things are still good" - Kerri Land, so we've got to press on! Not just press, but lean on our helper, The Lord Jesus Christ because He is leaning on us. While this entire process may feel uncomfortable to you, pray that the Holy Spirit leads and guides your pathway. Pray you'll get through it, pray you will overcome, pray and have faith because in the end YOU'VE GOT THIS! Make the changes you need to better yourself. While your working remember God is doing His part too, with the two of you together working, you're going to see a change(s) and you will prosper.
