Welcome back to the Podcast, “The Secret Of A Successful Life Series.” We have heard about the terrible struggles people had during the great depression. That problem did more than affect the stock market. Entire families were affected in many ways, with physical and mental struggles. Whenever someone has a struggle it is so important to have Godly people who show a real love and concern for what they are experiencing.

In this episode we will notice how the Walter Macintosh family will have to make a move to Iowa after Walter’s job at the factory ended. This adjustment will take a toll on everyone of the family but with God’s help they will rise up and go on, just as people can do the same today in times of real struggles.  This chapter is titled, “Trying Hard Not to Smell Like Fish.”
