Ann-Janette grew up the product of a musical family.  With two performing parents, it wasn’t long until she discovered the piano... and ultimately her own voice.  That transcendent voice would become the amplifier of her one of a kind, quixotic heart.  It’s a sound of hope and love, pain, and beauty.

Ann-Janette quickly fell in love with the hallmark songwriters of her childhood... Carole King, Willie Nelson, the Carpenters, Lennon & McCartney, but it was her own voice; the songs that echoed her own thoughts- that drove her the most.  For the last 10 years,  Ann-Janette has been combining those two worlds - writing and recording her own original music, releasing studio and live albums, producing concert events for national release on PBS stations, and performing to thousands.  All the while she has been incorporating the songs of other great writers that move her into her lexicon and performances.

Ann-Janette’s musical accomplishments also include writing and performing the songs for an original rock musical, LoveTown, which thrilled audiences as a stage performance and independent movie.  She followed that experience by lending her music to two short films, Travelers and Last Night. She also recently provided the song and inspiration for a Children’s book, The Bird and The Moon.

In 2018 Ann-Janette release her first collection of original Christmas songs and personal arrangements called “Let Your Heart Be Light.”   She plans a new release of original songs next year.
