There sleeps Titania some time of the night,

Lull’d in these flowers with dance and delight.

In Tangled in Tudor Times Bella Salas has her own reaction to Tudor roses...Masses of flowering bushes trailed along the path. They hung over gates and dangled from arbors and walkways. Beneath the arch of an ancient, paneled doorway, a wide-petaled crimson beauty was just opening. The heavy scent of damasks consumed us.
