Almost 30 years ago, Cris Embleton started the non-profit organization Mending Kids. The inspiration came to her after the tragic death of her newly-adopted baby. Almost immediately she was performing surgical missions all around the world, providing free medical care to those with little-to-no access to resources. To this day, Mending Kids has operated in 66 countries + has saved the lives of thousands of young #earthlings
