Champion Park is private railway that exists as a familty tribute by Gerald Knowlton, his wife and family to his father, Ted Knowlton, who was the agent of the CPR at Standard, Alberta for years. The Champion, Alberta Station, a duplicate of the Standard station was restored and moved to Champion park, as well as artifacts, mementos and CPR rolling stock including the business car Saskatchewan that was restored at the Park in 1983. Many people drive past it every day and wonder - well this is what it is.
