Victoria police have been left once again disappointed at the number of offences caught on Gippsland roads over the long weekend as Operation Scoreboard came to a close on Sunday.

With another difficult fire season forecast, the CFA is inviting Gippsland residents to connect with their local brigade and learn how best to prepare their homes and properties.

Former Australian of the Year Dylan Alcott will be in Traralgon tomorrow which is a free community event.
