At their recent meeting, the Rome Board of Education focused on selecting a location for a new elementary school. Initially, they considered three sites: the Stadium Support Facility on Turin Street, the Clough Pre-K Center on Bell Road, and the former Rome Catholic School on Cypress Street. Due to high costs, the Stadium Support site is no longer a viable option, leaving Clough and the former Rome Catholic School under consideration.
