Listen to David’s closing words in Psalm 4, verse 8: In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, O Lord, will keep me safe.

David had many days and nights where his enemies were stalking, seeking to harm him. Living under threat, confessing that he would fully depend on God to protect him while he slept in peace was a strong statement of faith.
