Weatherford College makes history with a $100 million groundbreaking — the largest construction project in its 156-year history. A late-season Freeze Warning hits Parker County this morning with temps dropping to 27 degrees, followed by a rapid warmup into the 90s by the weekend. On the diamond, both the Roo baseball team and Lady Roos softball team dominated Friday night, with pitcher Landon Carlisle throwing a gem in a 9-1 win over Crowley and Katie Chappell launching a 3-run homer in an 11-0 softball run-rule.
