At least one person is dead, with an undisclosed number of others missing after a massive landslide destroyed three houses and covered the highway, about eleven miles outside of Wrangell late last night; smaller landslides and power outages have been reported all over southern Southeast Alaska; a winter storm hit much of northern Southeast Alaska yesterday with heavy snow and blizzard conditions.
