He directs the Montana Human Rights Network’s Combating White Nationalism and Defending Democracy project. During his more than 15 years with the organization, he has researched, written about, and helped communities respond to white nationalists, paramilitary militias, and other Far Right extremists.

 

McAdam is a nationally recognized expert on right-wing extremist movements, and his analysis and writings have been featured in national and international publications. He holds degrees in journalism and sociology from the University of Montana.
