It's important to recognize that the other people impacted by hoarding matter too. 

The experiences of the Adult Kid of Parents That Hoard are often overlooked in the conversations where we are called in to assist our parents. 

It's actually very similar to what it was like if you were a Youth Living in The Hoard.  Frequently overlooked while our needs were often overlooked. 

Establishing boundaries and maintaining them is one way we can be sure to not become overwhelmed.
