Advocate Tseliso Thipanyane officially took over his role as the Chief Executive Officer of the South African Human Rights Commission in June 2017.
He has had a long career that has focussed mainly on the promotion and protection of human rights. He has also taught law at the University of the Western Cape, Columbia University Law School and the Ramapo College of New Jersey.
