Our next co-host started her career in 1987, when being a ‘businesswoman’ was still relatively new. She was one of three women who had been hired as article clerk at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). She would go onto management positions and actively change recruitment policies, ensuring over 50% of its auditors are women.

Since PwC, she joined a new joint venture with FirstCorp Merchant Bank and, following FirstCorp’s restructure in 1995, took over the business, providing corporate finance and listing services to entrepreneurial businesses for six years. In 2001, Michelle joined the Arcay group and started the sponsor business within Arcay. In 2013, Michelle was part of a team that did a management buyout of the controlling interest of various subsidiaries, leading to the formation of Arbor Capital.
