Howard Gabriels has extensive experience at a strategic leadership level in the public sector, having held various positions in the public sector and being the chairperson of the Statistics Council between 2005 and 2013. He completed a M Phil (Urban and Regional Science) at the Stellenbosch University in 2012. He has a B Sc. Degree (Mathematics and Mathematical Statistics) and a B. Econ (Honours) degree from UWC.
