There are many inspirational South Africans but a few who have made the name that Lebogang Ramafoko has done, as the former Chief Executive of the Soul City Institute and now the current CEO of the Tekano Atlantic Fellowship Health Equity South Africa.

Growing up in Munsieville, west of Johannesburg, Lebogang Ramafoko was raised by a father who worked flexi-hours in the taxi-industry and a mother whose nursing career required night shifts. In an interview that she did a few years ago, she described her mother as a very outspoken and vocal person; and her father as very nurturing.
