Our next guest is a Philanthropist, Entrepreneur and Television Producer. She was scouted in her school uniform at the age of 16 and recruited to be a model, which lead her into the spotlight at a tender age. She later became one of the first black super models in new post-apartheid South Africa. In 1996 she was crowned the first Black Miss Cape Town while studying for her bachelor of commerce at the University of the Western Cape, where she’s now an alumnus. Since then, she has gone onto sit on the boards of Gauteng Film Commission and Tara Hospital. She has worked at the Head of Publicity and Media Management at SABC1 and worked as the Deputy Director of Communications.
