The Tulsa Police Department reports the following incidents for the week of February 1-7, 2025:
On February 1, officers responded to a shooting near East 21st Street and South 117th East Avenue. Multiple teenage victims were injured in what appears to be an ambush-style attack. Two 18-year-olds, identified as Arturo Dogollado and Jett Brummett, were pronounced dead at the scene. Two other teens, ages 18 and 19, were hospitalized with gunshot wounds. Christopher Atjun, 18, was arrested and charged with two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of shooting with intent to kill. The incident remains under active investigation.
A burglary was reported at a business in the 4100 block of South Yale Avenue on February 2. Suspects allegedly forced entry and stole merchandise. Detectives are reviewing security footage.
On February 3, police arrested a suspect for arson in connection with a fire at an apartment complex near 61st Street and Peoria Avenue. The suspect is being held on $50,000 bond.
Officers investigated an armed robbery at a convenience store near Admiral Place and Memorial Drive on February 4. The suspect allegedly brandished a weapon and fled with cash. No injuries were reported.
A vehicle theft occurred in the parking lot of a shopping center near 71st Street and Lewis Avenue on February 5. The vehicle was later recovered abandoned in north Tulsa.
On February 6, police responded to a domestic disturbance call in the 1200 block of East 46th Street North. One individual was taken into custody on assault charges.
Officers arrested two suspects on February 7 in connection with a string of catalytic converter thefts across midtown. The arrests followed a weeks-long investigation.
In a separate incident on February 7, 18-year-old Dennis Garrison was arrested for first-degree murder following a shooting at the Plaza Hills East apartment complex near 21st Street and 129th East Avenue. Officers responded around 2:45 a.m. and found a man in his 30s dead from a gunshot wound. Witnesses reported that Garrison got into an altercation with the victim before shooting him multiple times as he walked away.
Throughout the week, the police department also reports responding to numerous traffic collisions, noise complaints, and minor property crimes across the city.
On February 14, Rachel Odom was arrested in Oklahoma City in connection with the fatal shooting of her ex-husband, Ryan Davis, at her home near Bixby. Police say Odom shot Davis in the head while he was eating dinner, then fled with their 9-year-old daughter. Odom was taken into custody at an Oklahoma City hospital and is now in the Tulsa County jail.
Crime data for the past week shows a slight decrease in violent crimes compared to the previous week, while property crimes remained steady. Auto thefts continue to be a concern, with several incidents reported daily.
