The Tulsa Police Department reports the following incidents for the week of February 1-7, 2025:
On February 1, officers responded to a shooting near East 21st Street and South 117th East Avenue. Multiple teenage victims were injured in what appears to be an ambush-style attack. The incident remains under active investigation.
A burglary was reported at a business in the 4100 block of South Yale Avenue on February 2. Suspects allegedly forced entry and stole merchandise. Detectives are reviewing security footage.
On February 3, police arrested a suspect for arson in connection with a fire at an apartment complex near 61st Street and Peoria Avenue. The suspect is being held on $50,000 bond.
Officers investigated an armed robbery at a convenience store near Admiral Place and Memorial Drive on February 4. The suspect allegedly brandished a weapon and fled with cash. No injuries were reported.
A vehicle theft occurred in the parking lot of a shopping center near 71st Street and Lewis Avenue on February 5. The vehicle was later recovered abandoned in north Tulsa.
On February 6, police responded to a domestic disturbance call in the 1200 block of East 46th Street North. One individual was taken into custody on assault charges.
Officers arrested two suspects on February 7 in connection with a string of catalytic converter thefts across midtown. The arrests followed a weeks-long investigation.
Throughout the week, the police department also reports responding to numerous traffic collisions, noise complaints, and minor property crimes across the city.
Crime data for the past week shows a slight decrease in violent crimes compared to the previous week, while property crimes remained steady. Auto thefts continue to be a concern, with several incidents reported daily.
