Tulsa Weekly Crime Digest: Robberies, Burglaries, and a Call for Public Assistance

Listeners, this is your Tulsa daily police crime digest for the previous week. In the East Tulsa area near the 21st and Garnett corridor, Tulsa police responded to an alleged armed robbery at a convenience store where the suspect entered the business late evening, displayed a handgun, and left with the cash drawer contents. No injuries were reported and detectives confirm the investigation remains open.

Around the midtown sector, 41st and Yale, officers investigated a residential burglary early one morning. Entry was allegedly forced through a rear sliding door and several electronics were reported missing. The case is under investigation, and police urge anyone with information to come forward.

On the north side, near the Crutchfield neighborhood, officers responded to a report of shots fired in the vicinity of Pine and Lewis. Witnesses described hearing multiple gunshots and seeing a dark sedan leaving the area rapidly. Shell casings were recovered on scene, but there were no injuries reported. The case status remains under investigation.

In the downtown district close to Denver Avenue, officers made an arrest after responding to reports of a disturbance outside a bar. The alleged incident escalated into an assault and the individual detained is facing charges pending formal arraignment.

In the Brookside area, officers responded to a call about an alleged vehicle break-in near Peoria Avenue. Surveillance video shows the suspect searching vehicles in a parking lot, and police are actively seeking public assistance. The suspect is described as a male in his twenties, medium build, wearing a gray hoodie and dark jeans at the time of the incident.

There was also an alleged domestic disturbance near the 81st and Sheridan intersection in south Tulsa. Police intervened and one arrest was made following interviews. The investigation is ongoing.

Overall, the past week saw several property crimes including burglaries and vehicle thefts, as well as a continued trend of nighttime vehicle break-ins across both midtown and south Tulsa. Officers urge vigilance, especially in parking lots during evening hours.
