Psychologist Karin Monster-Peters chose to work with highly sensitive and gifted people after realizing as a young adult that she herself fit the description. "I never knew this was a thing," she said, "Then one day I was sitting in a college class about this topic and I thought, oh wow, that's me!"

After that revelation, a whole world opened up for Karin and she focused her work and energy on this part of the population. The more she worked with them, however, the more she realized that a holistic approach to health, healing and navigating through life's challenges could also apply to the broader population.In this episode we talk with Karin, learn more about her work and hear how getting in tough with your sensitivity can lead to a vibrant, healthy life.
